Attention! Cylinder for the quick and handy craftsman!
- This is a Puch Maxi cylinder that can be made to fit a Tomos A3 / A35 / A55 / various models.
- Not for the novice wrencher!
- Crankshaft stroke and stud mounting distance of a Tomos is the same as for a Puch Maxi.
- To fit this cylinder to a Tomos, you will need to modify the exhaust flange of your exhaust, you will need to modify the manifold and you may need to boring your crankcase and/or reshape the ports.
Italkit / Gilardoni 74cc (47mm) Aluminium, nicasil wall.
- Head, piston (piston pin 12mm), reed valve, manifold and gaskets set included.
- This is the fastest you can get!
- At least a 21mm carburetor needed, and the sump has to be milled.
- From now on with a matching head!!

After 15 gloomy years of absence, the insanely powerful king of the piston port cylinders is now locked, stocked and ready to tear up the streets once again!
- Airsal adapted the piston, curved exhaust port instead of straight as the Maxi cylinder. The inlet studs are at the same measurements as regular Puch Maxi cylinders.
- The only thing that’s left for you to do is match your engine cases to fit a 51mm cylinder sleeve.
- Our advise is to use a 19mm carburetor or bigger
- Inlet is 20mm.
- Cylindersleeve outer diameter: 51mm
Preparation for assembly
- We always advise to check and clean the cylinder thoroughly before installation and to finish the ports in the cylinder slightly with a 1000 grit sandpaper so that the edges are no longer so sharp due to the Nicasil coating, in order to extend the life of the cylinder/piston considerably.
