Holder for the Austrian vehicle safety badge

Field of application: For single-track motor vehicles for damage-free mounting/dismounting of badges on bar pieces with a maximum diameter of 8 cm.

Features: Moulded in one piece, one-way closure, non-transferable.

Location: In accordance with the Motor Vehicles Act 1967, the sticker must be attached to the vehicle in such a way that the year and month of the prescribed next periodic inspection of the vehicle are clearly visible by means of a hole marking in each of the corresponding fields of the sticker. Furthermore, the sticker must be fixed to the outside of the vehicle in such a way that its lowest point is not less than 40 cm and its highest point not more than 190 cm above the road surface.

This means: on the fork or steering bar on the right front only. Addition: on a part of the vehicle that is difficult to remove with tools. This means no crash bars, footrests, parcel racks, easily unscrewed coverings (e.g.: Roller automatic / unscrewable cover on the inside of the leg shield or metal brackets screwed to the seat at the level of the rider's knee) or open handlebar ends.
